Copyright Policy

Effective Date: August 5, 2026 - Last Updated: August 5, 2026

This Copyright Policy explains how videodownloader.live ("videodownloader.live," "we," "us," or "our") responds to copyright complaints, unauthorized content reports, repeat infringement concerns, and related legal requests concerning content submitted to or processed through the Service.

videodownloader.live respects the intellectual property rights of creators, rights holders, platforms, and other third parties.

We do not allow the Service to be used for unauthorized downloading, conversion, clipping, storage, or other processing of copyrighted content.

Users may only submit content they own, control, or are otherwise authorized to process, as described in our Terms of Service and Content Eligibility Policy.

If you believe that content submitted to or processed through the Service infringes your copyright or related rights, send a complaint to:

[email protected]

Your complaint should include, where applicable:

  • your full name and contact details,
  • identification of the copyrighted work,
  • identification of the allegedly infringing content or request,
  • the URL, file identifier, user information, or other details reasonably sufficient for us to investigate,
  • a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized,
  • a statement that the information provided is accurate, and
  • evidence of your authority to act on behalf of the rights holder if relevant.

We may request additional information before acting.

3. Our Response Process

Upon receiving a sufficiently detailed complaint, we may:

  • review the complaint,
  • investigate available logs and records,
  • temporarily block or suspend the relevant request or account,
  • remove or disable related access,
  • request additional evidence,
  • preserve relevant records, and
  • take further action where appropriate under law or policy.

We may act without prior notice where we believe urgent action is reasonably necessary to reduce legal, operational, or platform risk.

4. Repeat Infringer and Repeat Violation Policy

Accounts associated with repeated copyright complaints, repeated unauthorized submissions, or repeated attempts to process ineligible content may be subject to:

  • warning notices,
  • request blocking,
  • feature restrictions,
  • temporary suspension,
  • permanent termination, and
  • refusal of future service.

We may determine repeat violation status based on the number, pattern, credibility, or seriousness of complaints or evidence.

5. Counter-Notice or Dispute Response

If your content or access was restricted due to a copyright complaint and you believe the complaint was made in error, you may contact:

[email protected]

We may review counter-information where appropriate, but we are not required to restore access where doing so would create unreasonable legal, payment, platform, or operational risk.

Nothing in this policy guarantees restoration of access, content, or account functionality.

6. Preservation of Records

We may retain and preserve:

  • account identifiers,
  • billing records,
  • request logs,
  • source URLs,
  • uploaded file metadata,
  • timestamps,
  • internal review notes, and
  • related communications

where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, rights protection, or dispute handling.

videodownloader.live does not determine whether a particular use is lawful for all jurisdictions and circumstances. We may take action based on risk, available information, or policy considerations even where the legal status of the content is disputed.

8. False or Abusive Complaints

We may disregard, seek clarification regarding, or otherwise respond appropriately to complaints that appear incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, automated, or unsupported.
